Job Summary
Research Consultant on Economic Justice, this is a part-time consultancy position focused on conducting legal and qualitative research on family law and economic justice in selected Latin American and Caribbean countries, with a duration of three months.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and develop a comparative analysis matrix for assigned countries
- Prepare analytical reports on legal frameworks and implementation practices related to women's economic rights
- Collaborate with the Legal Advisor and participate in periodic check-ins for alignment on methodology and timelines
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in law, human rights, gender studies, social sciences, public policy, or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in research or policy work related to family law and economic justice
- Demonstrated experience in legal and/or socio-legal research, preferably in areas relevant to the consultancy
- Strong knowledge of family law and legal frameworks related to economic justice in Latin America
- Experience in qualitative research methods, including conducting and analyzing interviews
