Research Contract Negotiator

Job Summary

To support the institution's research mission, the remote Senior Consultant - Research Contract Negotiator will review, draft, and negotiate various research-related agreements while ensuring compliance with institutional policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate research-related agreements, including federal grants, clinical trial agreements, and confidentiality agreements
• Ensure compliance with institution policies, federal and state regulations, and funding agency requirements
• Collaborate with faculty and researchers to understand project needs and manage contractual requirements

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in research contract negotiation
• Working knowledge of research compliance issues (e.g., human subjects, data security)
• Strong negotiation, communication, and writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
