Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various research-related agreements, including grants, contracts, and confidentiality agreements
- Ensure compliance with institution policies, federal and state regulations, and funding agency requirements
- Identify and mitigate legal, financial, compliance, and intellectual property risks in contractual agreements
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in research contract negotiation
- Working knowledge of research compliance issues such as human subjects and data security
- Strong negotiation, communication, and writing skills
