Research Data Scientist II

Job Summary

Utilizing advanced statistical analysis and machine learning methods, the full-time Research Data Scientist II will work remotely to analyze complex datasets, develop predictive models, and support research initiatives from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to build algorithms and perform data analytics
• Collaborate with team members to develop analytical techniques and document best practices
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to develop and test hypotheses, and communicate findings to investigators

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or a related field with four years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with two years of experience, or a PhD in a similar field
• Highly proficient programming skills in SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, or similar languages
• Experience conducting data analytics, mathematical or statistical modeling, or machine learning
