Research Data Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the Multiple Myeloma clinical research program, the full-time Research Data Specialist will manage data collection, database organization, and quality assurance of patient clinical data while working remotely with occasional on-campus requirements in Boston.

Key responsibilities

• Reviewing and abstracting medical records for research patients and entering clinical data into the database
• Ensuring timely data entry and assisting research teams with the development of Case Report Forms for clinical trials
• Collaborating with principal investigators and clinic staff for data collection and quality assurance measures

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1 year of experience as a Dana-Farber Associate Research Data Specialist
• Preferred experience of 0-1 years in a medical, scientific research, or technology-oriented environment
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize workload
• Must practice discretion and adhere to confidentiality guidelines
