Job Summary
Supporting the GI Oncology Clinical Research Program, the full-time remote Research Data Specialist will manage data collection, database organization, and quality assurance for clinical trials across various GI cancers, while collaborating with research teams and ensuring compliance with study protocols.
Key responsibilities
- Reviewing and abstracting medical records for research patients and entering clinical data into corresponding databases
- Ensuring timely data entry and assisting in the development of Case Report Forms for clinical trials
- Maintaining communication with Information Services and clinic staff to support data collection needs and quality assurance measures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 1 year of experience as a Dana-Farber Associate Research Data Specialist
- 0-1 years of experience in a medical, scientific research, or technology-oriented business environment preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize workload
- Experience with data quality assurance and regulatory compliance is a plus
