Research Data Specialist II
Job Summary
Supporting the Breast Oncology clinical research program, the full-time Research Data Specialist II will manage data abstraction, collection, and curation for breast cancer registries while working fully remotely from a New England state.
Key responsibilities
- Reviewing and abstracting medical records for assigned research patients
- Entering identified clinical data points into the corresponding database
- Assisting research teams with the development and implementation of Case Report Forms for clinical studies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 2 years of experience as a Research Data Specialist, with a Master's degree preferred
- 1-3 years of clinical research experience in a medical or scientific research environment
- Understanding of data elements within the assigned data repository
- Knowledge of the consent process and ability to facilitate consenting of subjects
- Familiarity with tissue banking regulations and clinical research principles
