Research Director, Software Channels

Job Summary

Leading the Software Channels Research program, the full-time salaried Research Director, Software Channels will drive a forward-looking research agenda, manage client engagement, and deliver two annual Leadership Councils, all while working in a flexible hybrid environment with required travel.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the health and direction of the Software Channels research program and ensure timely publication of research
• Engage with clients to address inquiries, renewals, and prospecting efforts while developing custom research tailored to client needs
• Deliver two Leadership Councils per year, presenting research findings and addressing client challenges in a collaborative format

Required qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a business or technology-related subject
• Proven experience in technology or market research with a focus on channels and ecosystems
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience engaging with executives
• Strong writing and presentation skills, proficient in tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Adaptable team player with strategic vision and a customer-focused approach
