Research Economist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Economist to support the design, implementation, and analysis of innovative health care delivery policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to quantitative research and evaluation activities on health policy topics
• Supervise descriptive and statistical analyses of large datasets and present results to diverse audiences
• Manage budgets, supervise research staff, and communicate work plans and results with clients

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience, Master's Degree with 10 years, or PhD with 6 years in a related field
• Demonstrated experience with quantitative research and advanced micro-econometrics
• Experience with domestic health policy, particularly Medicare or Medicaid programs
• Experience with large program and administrative data
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite
