Research Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Engineer to join their Special Projects team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct original research in spatial reasoning for residential construction, focusing on architectural structures and spatial relationships
• Design and implement LLM training and fine-tuning pipelines for construction domains, utilizing architectural drawings and building codes
• Develop RL-based approaches for generative architectural design and establish benchmarks for model performance in homebuilding tasks

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 2+ years in LLM development or applied ML systems
• Hands-on experience with model training frameworks such as HuggingFace Transformers and PyTorch
• Practical experience with RAG architectures and vector databases
• Experience in 3D modeling, computational geometry, or computer graphics
• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field
