Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Environmental Engineer specializing in Hydrology and Flood Risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support hydrologic, hydraulic, and reservoir modeling projects, including data analysis and model calibration
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance water resources modeling tools and develop simulation models
  • Lead small projects, contribute to proposal development, and share findings through presentations and papers
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience, Master's degree with 3 years, or PhD with no experience
  • Experience in hydrologic, hydraulic, watershed, or reservoir modeling
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis of hydrometeorological time series and water resources statistics
  • Basic geospatial processing skills using ArcGIS or QGIS, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a team environment and experience with technical documentation
