Research Finance Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Finance Analyst II, Research Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of sponsored projects, performing grant-related post-award financial functions including budget analysis and financial reporting
• Review contracts and new awards to assess their impact on financial management and provide feedback to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
• Communicate with key staff regarding post-award financial management, including account status and grant closeout functions

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent work experience, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• Two to five years of relevant work experience, preferably in an Accounting or Financial role
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Experience with accounts receivable management and financial reporting
• Ability to assist with internal and external audits
