Job Summary
Research Financial Analyst provides full-time financial support for managing Sponsored Programs Administration activities, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting, in a fully remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial activities related to Sponsored Programs Administration, including budget analyses and financial statements
- Assist in award setup, invoicing, and accounts receivable management to ensure accurate billing and timely payments
- Compile financial information and prepare reports for internal review and leadership meetings
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 1-3 years of related work experience in research finance or grant management
- Experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office
- Preferred experience in accounting or financial operations
- Familiarity with sponsored programs and Lawson application is advantageous
