Research Impact Librarian

Job Summary

Supporting daily library operations, the full-time Research Impact Librarian will manage book processing, collection management, interlibrary loans, and provide reference technical support in a hybrid remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Editing and deleting metadata records and processing physical items for the collection
• Providing interlibrary borrowing and lending services and assisting patrons with circulation and locating materials
• Offering technical support to Federal staff and collaborating with the Outreach Coordinator on library events

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in Library Science (MLS/MLIS) from an ALA-accredited university
• Experience in a customer service role
• Familiarity with OCLC, EndNote, and Integrated Library Systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
