Research Investigator, Statistician

Job Summary

To support a growing research initiative, the full-time salaried Research Investigator, Statistician will provide scientific leadership and analytical expertise in a primarily remote role, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design, conduct, analyze, and disseminate healthcare research aimed at improving health outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop research studies and perform data analyses related to medical care and community health
• Contribute to statistical analysis plans and study protocols while supporting grant submissions
• Collaborate with clinician investigators and provide consultation to enhance research methodologies

Required qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in statistics, biostatistics, health services research, epidemiology, or related fields
• Expertise in research design and advanced statistical methods
• Experience with statistical software platforms including R, SAS, and Python
• Proven track record of leading and contributing to peer-reviewed scholarly publications
• Ability to communicate complex statistical concepts to non-technical audiences
