Research Manager

Job Summary

Owning the scientific evidence bar, the full-time remote Research Manager will evaluate and make decisions on protocols, products, and ingredients while collaborating with various teams to ensure rigorous scientific standards are upheld across the organization.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the evidence bar for protocols, products, ingredients, and interventions, making clear adopt/reject decisions
• Lead structured scientific reviews of new products and provide written justifications and risk assessments
• Stay current on relevant scientific literature and mentor team members on evidence interpretation and communication

Required qualifications:

• PhD (or MD/PhD) in a relevant biomedical, clinical, or life sciences field
• 5+ years of experience evaluating clinical and pre-clinical evidence
• Demonstrated ability to make and defend decisions on therapeutics and medical devices
• Strong written communication skills for producing structured evidence reviews
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment with high autonomy
