Research Manager
Job Summary
To support the External Relations team, the full-time Research Manager will identify and research donor prospects, analyze data for trends and opportunities, and supervise the research team while working fully remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth prospect research, including wealth screening and philanthropic history analysis
- Supervise the research team by assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring work accuracy
- Compile reports summarizing donor trends and research team output for leadership review
Required qualifications
- Experience in prospect research or a related development/fundraising analytics role, with team management preferred
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and recommend strategic actions
- Familiarity with databases and DMS systems, particularly Salesforce
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
- Experience in developing research methodologies and standard operating procedures
