Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Research Manager - Southern US, this remote position will lead genealogical research projects, manage client relationships, and ensure high-quality deliverables while maintaining billable hours and supporting team development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage 30-60 client projects, defining scope, budget, and resources
• Produce research logs, reports, and client updates while ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards
• Collaborate with client relationship managers and research staff to achieve project objectives and maintain effective communication

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in professional genealogical research
• Bachelor's or master's degree in History, English, or a related field
• Specialization in U.S. Mid-South and Southern states research
• Proficiency in applying DNA test results to genealogical research
• Experience managing multiple projects and providing coaching to team members
