Research Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Scientist to conduct independent research in substance misuse and child wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct advanced multilevel regression analyses and supervise research assistants in data cleaning and analysis
• Interpret and analyze complex data sets using advanced statistical techniques and ensure quality assurance of data
• Write manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications and present findings at conferences and webinars

Required Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree in a relevant field
• Proven experience as a data analyst with advanced knowledge of statistics
• Experience using statistical packages such as SPSS, Stata, and R
• Significant knowledge of the Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS)
• Ability to work with child welfare administrative data
