Research Scientist

Job Summary

Supporting applied research and prototyping efforts, the full-time remote Research Scientist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore, analyze, and validate data-driven and machine learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Focus on video understanding related data processing, utilizing Python and C++ with basic VLLM knowledge
• Design and execute exploratory analyses and experiments using Python and SQL to generate actionable insights
• Prototype, train, and evaluate machine learning models using PyTorch, while developing clear technical documentation of methods and results

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in applied research or model development
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming structured datasets
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch for training and evaluating models
• Familiarity with modern LLM tooling and inference approaches, including vLLM or similar frameworks
