Research Scientist

Job Summary

To support innovative research in real-world applications, the full-time remote Research Scientist will focus on co-designing algorithms, optimizing systems across software and hardware, and measuring the impact of their work on product efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Innovate on products by designing algorithms that react in real-time to feedback
• Collaborate across software, hardware, and algorithmic domains for system-wide efficiency gains
• Measure real-world impact to ensure algorithms provide significant value

Required qualifications

• A PhD or equivalent research experience in a computer science field
• 4-5+ years of industry experience
• Deep expertise in model efficiency, real-time alignment, or algorithmic optimization
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow)
• Knowledge of model optimization techniques (RLHF, finetuning)
