Research Scientist

Job Summary

Leading a high-quality research program, the full-time Research Scientist will manage complex projects as Principal Investigator, co-develop grant submissions, and disseminate findings while working independently within an innovative healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or co-lead research projects with clinicians and scientists, ensuring timely delivery of results and quality of research deliverables
• Design and develop grant submissions to secure funding for academic research initiatives
• Mentor junior scientists and contribute to the development of the AARI academic research agenda

Required qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Health Science or related field
• Typically requires 4 years of experience in public health, health sciences, or related research areas
• Evidence of funding as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator from federal or other organizations
• 3+ years of post-graduate experience in an established area of research
• Expert knowledge in qualitative/quantitative research methods and strong publication record
