Research Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Scientist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, develop, test, and evaluate complex scientific models
• Improve and add new capabilities to existing numerical models
• Document and present work to team members, customers, and the modeling community

Required Qualifications:

• Experience and proficiency in coding scientific/numerical models
• Knowledge and experience in parallelization methods including GPU computing
• Experience working with Git-based source control systems
• Ability to produce well-organized and documented source code
• Ability to work independently but also work well with others in a team environment
