Research Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Scientist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in the execution and delivery of analyses in health economics, comparative effectiveness, performance measure development and testing, outcomes research, and epidemiology
• Perform descriptive and advanced statistical analyses using large patient and/or claims databases
• Develop and author study reports, scientific publications, conference abstracts, and posters

Required Qualifications:

• MA/MS or PhD in epidemiology, data science, health economics, health policy, pharmacy administration, public health, statistics, or related discipline
• 3+ years of consulting, healthcare, or pharmaceutical/device industry experience
• Broad technical knowledge of computational science, including applied statistics, econometrics, predictive modeling, and/or AI/machine learning theory and methods
• Proficiency in statistical software packages such as SAS, R, Python, and/or STATA
• Experience presenting research results at scientific conferences and/or a record of peer-reviewed publications
