Research Scientist I

Job Summary

To support the Evidence & Strategy Practice, the full-time salaried Research Scientist I will perform data management and statistical analysis using large datasets, contribute to research proposals, and ensure the accuracy of analytic outputs in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform data management activities to create analytic-ready datasets using SQL and/or SAS
• Conduct descriptive and basic statistical analyses to support economic and outcomes modeling
• Independently manage workflow and contribute to the research and analysis process

Required qualifications

• BA/BS or higher in computer science, economics, mathematics, statistics, data science, epidemiology, or a related discipline
• 3+ years of SAS or SQL programming experience in a professional setting
• Experience analyzing large administrative pharmacy and medical claims databases
• Working knowledge of basic statistical techniques and econometric skills
• Positive, flexible attitude with strong teamwork skills in a remote/hybrid environment
