Research Scientist II

Job Summary

Driving core research initiatives, the full-time remote Research Scientist II will conduct research on real-time video processing, design deep learning algorithms for video analytics, and collaborate with engineering teams to deploy machine learning models into production.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research to develop new functionalities and enhance existing technologies for video processing and analytics
• Design, implement, and evaluate deep learning algorithms for face recognition and deepfake detection
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy research models and contribute to research publications and patents

Required qualifications

• PhD in a quantitative field or equivalent industry research experience
• 3+ years of professional experience in Deep Learning applied to computer vision or video processing
• Strong programming proficiency in Python for developing and maintaining research packages
• Hands-on mastery of machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras
• Proven track record of timely project delivery and contributions to patents or peer-reviewed publications
