Research Scientist II

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Research Scientist II will enhance fraud detection and investigation methods across voice and IVR interactions by developing machine learning models and analyzing fraud patterns for major enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Build and improve fraud risk models using audio, behavioral, and metadata signals
• Analyze fraud patterns and translate findings into actionable improvements in model performance and investigation workflows
• Support high-priority fraud investigations by analyzing system behavior and recommending practical next steps

Required qualifications

• Advanced Degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• 3+ years of professional experience in machine learning, fraud detection, or related domains
• Strong Python skills and experience with modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras
• Experience translating research findings into practical improvements in models or production systems
• Foundational knowledge of fraud, identity, consumer scams, or risk scoring concepts
