Research Scientist III

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist III, the full-time position will contribute to NIH-funded research projects focused on maternal and cardiometabolic health, managing study protocols, data analyses, and dissemination of findings while collaborating with both domestic and international partners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement, and monitor research projects, ensuring adherence to study timelines and milestones
• Develop and refine study protocols and research materials, conducting statistical analyses and maintaining study databases
• Lead the preparation of scholarly products, including manuscripts, grant applications, and progress reports for research dissemination

Required qualifications

• PhD in a relevant area with three years of research experience leading projects
• Demonstrated solid publication record in peer-reviewed journals
• Proficiency in statistical packages such as SPSS, STATA, or SAS
• Experience in maternal and child health, clinical trials, or digital health preferred
• Excellent writing and communication skills
