Focused on advancing bat conservation and renewable energy solutions, the full-time salaried Research Scientist in Wind Energy will manage and analyze ecological data, contribute to scientific publications, and collaborate with internal and external partners in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, process, and curate ecological data for research projects
- Analyze data to produce scientific publications that inform bat conservation efforts
- Collaborate with BCI staff and external partners to support evidence-based conservation initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree (MSc) and at least 2 years of experience in biology, ecology, wildlife, conservation, or a related field
- Proficiency in data management and quantitative analyses, including advanced statistics and statistical computing
- Experience with analysis in Program R and data visualization
- Demonstrated interest in hypothesis-driven research and applied conservation
- Valid US driver's license
