Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and conduct human-subject studies on motion, biomechanics, and user comfort in AR/VR systems
• Lead data acquisition and quality assurance for machine learning models related to hand pose and gesture recognition
• Develop and execute ML training and evaluation pipelines, including performance analysis and failure investigations

Required Qualifications

• PhD (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Biomechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Human Factors, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning operations, data analysis, and visualization
• Proficiency in Python and experience with statistical analysis and data quality pipelines
• Demonstrated expertise with biomechanical research methods and human participant studies
• Familiarity with Linux environments and research lab equipment setup/maintenance
