Research Scientist, PhD

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative fraud detection solutions, a full-time Research Scientist, PhD New Grad will build and deploy machine learning models in a remote environment, focusing on financial risk and identity verification.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain fraud detection models through the entire model development lifecycle
• Research new types of fraud and contribute to the development of SentiLink's identity verification products
• Write production-ready code for real-time decision making and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and access

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• Strong foundation in machine learning, statistics, or applied data science
• Experience with Python and data science tools through coursework, research, or internships
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and build data-driven solutions
• Interest in fraud, identity, and financial risk systems
