Research Scientist - VLM Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Scientist - VLM Generalist.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and fine-tune large-scale VLMs / LLMs for multimodal tasks
• Build efficient training and evaluation pipelines for model development
• Conduct in-depth analysis of model performance and collaborate across teams

Required Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent experience in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, Robotics, or Computer Graphics
• Proven track record in fine-tuning or training large-scale VLMs / LLMs
• Strong engineering mindset with experience in designing and scaling training systems
• Deep understanding of multimodal alignment and representation learning
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, DeepSpeed, or Ray in distributed training
