Research Senior Associate

Job Summary

To support the development of crop protection spray technologies, the full-time Research Senior Associate will conduct research on pesticide droplet fate and transport, develop electrostatic sprayers, and mentor research assistants in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Implement research plans including system installation, data collection, analysis, and quality control
• Prepare research reports and present findings at conferences and workshops
• Assist in the development and preparation of grant proposals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in agricultural, biological, or environmental engineering or a closely related field
• 1 year of relevant experience with a Master's or 3 years with a Bachelor's
• Training/background in agricultural air emission monitoring, mitigation, and modeling
• Strong commitment to academic excellence, demonstrated through publications and grant proposal activities
• Creative and critical thinking abilities
