Research Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Specialist who will provide extensive legal and non-legal research support.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive legal, business, and general research using various databases and resources
• Perform electronic current awareness and provide client development research support
• Participate in special projects and provide training on research resources to staff

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in library/information science from an ALA accredited school
• Three or more years of relevant law firm or corporate research experience
• Preferred experience in Intellectual Property research
• Working knowledge of legal and business databases such as Lexis, Westlaw, and Bloomberg Law
• High level of initiative and ability to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision
