Research Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Specialist to provide legal and non-legal research support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide extensive legal, business, and general research assistance using various databases and resources
• Conduct client development research and participate in special projects as assigned
• Train and support attorneys and staff in the use of print and electronic resources

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in library/information science from an ALA accredited school
• Three or more years of relevant law firm or corporate research experience
• Intellectual Property research experience is preferred
• Working knowledge of legal and business databases such as Lexis, Westlaw, and Bloomberg Law
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision
