Research Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Specialist to provide legal and non-legal research support.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive legal, business, and general research using various databases and resources
• Provide client development research support and participate in special projects as assigned
• Assist in training staff on resource usage and maintain professional knowledge through educational events

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in library/information science from an ALA accredited school
• Three or more years of relevant law firm or corporate research experience
• Intellectual Property research experience preferred
• Working knowledge of legal and business databases such as Lexis, Westlaw, and Bloomberg Law
• High level of initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
