Research Technologist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Technologist to support lab goals and grant commitments in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Sets up and performs routine lab procedures, including assays and cell/tissue culture
• Monitors results, reports unusual outcomes, and assists in data collection and summarization
• Prepares data presentations and contributes to manuscript writing while presenting at lab meetings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a relevant science, or an associate's degree with 6 years of relevant laboratory experience
• Solid understanding of lab techniques, equipment, and safety protocols
• Ability to organize and carry out laboratory techniques both independently and in a team
• Experience with basic data analysis is required
• Demonstrated writing skills are necessary for this position
