Research Technologist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research Technologist to support lab goals and grant commitments in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Sets up and performs routine lab procedures, including assays, cell/tissue culture, and animal studies
• Monitors results, reports unusual outcomes, and assists in data collection and analysis
• Contributes to research meetings and manuscript writing while maintaining lab equipment and supplies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a relevant science, or an associate's degree with 6 years of relevant laboratory experience
• Solid understanding of lab techniques, equipment, and safety protocols
• Ability to organize and perform laboratory techniques independently and collaboratively
• Experience with basic data analysis
• Demonstrated writing skills
