Reserves Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the evaluation and reporting of company reserves, the remote Reserves Engineer II/III/Senior will perform reserves evaluations, prepare annual reports in compliance with SEC regulations, and collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate reserve estimates and documentation.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform reserves evaluations and prepare annual reserve reports in compliance with SEC regulations and company policies
• Conduct engineering analyses to estimate oil, gas, and NGL reserves, including decline curve and material balance analyses
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align reserve assumptions with development plans and prepare management presentations on reserve results

Required qualifications:

• BS in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• 2+ years of experience in reservoir and/or reserves engineering
• Familiarity with SEC guidelines and reserves classification standards
• Strong technical understanding of reservoir engineering fundamentals and economic evaluation
• Experience working in a controlled reporting environment with strong documentation practices
