Reservoir Engineer

Job Summary

To support development optimization and production forecasting, the remote Reservoir Engineer II/III/Senior/Expert/Advisor will maximize asset value through type curve generation, performance analysis, and economic evaluation while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain type curves, production forecasts, and economic evaluations for undeveloped inventory
• Analyze production and subsurface data to identify optimization opportunities related to field development strategies
• Design and monitor pilot programs to test emerging concepts and industry best practices for asset optimization

Required qualifications

• BS in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• 2+ years of reservoir engineering experience, preferably in unconventional resource plays
• Strong foundation in reservoir engineering fundamentals, production analysis, and economic evaluation
• Proficiency with analytical and visualization tools such as Excel, Spotfire, or Power BI; coding experience preferred
• Familiarity with reservoir modeling techniques like RTA, PTA, and nodal analysis is a plus
