Resident Engineer - AC Substations

Job Summary

Serving as the primary technical partner and on-site representative for a Utility Customer, the full-time Resident Engineer - AC Substations will manage the long-term reliability and maintenance strategy of AC Substation installations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary on-call technical point of contact for emergency response and troubleshooting of critical system failures
• Provide expert technical support for Substation Control and Protection systems, including SCADA communication architectures
• Assist in developing comprehensive operating and maintenance procedures and ensure effective execution of scheduled maintenance work

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 5 years of experience supervising high-voltage substations
• Minimum of 5 years of proven field experience
• Availability for work on project sites in the U.S
