Resident Engineer - AC Substations
Job Summary
Serving as the primary technical partner and on-site representative for a Utility Customer, the full-time Resident Engineer - AC Substations will manage the long-term reliability, performance, and maintenance strategy of AC Substation installations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary on-site technical authority for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of AC Substation equipment
- Provide expert support for Substation Control and Protection systems, including SCADA communication architectures
- Develop and assist in the execution of comprehensive operating and maintenance procedures while ensuring compliance with safety standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 5 years of experience supervising high-voltage substations
- Minimum of 5 years of proven field experience
- Availability for work on project sites in the US
