Resident Insurance Producer

Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer service, the remote Client Services Underwriter I will manage the quoting, acceptance, and modification of lower complexity risks while supporting underwriting profit, growth, and retention goals.

Key responsibilities

• Quote, accept, decline, and modify risks within authority according to underwriting guidelines
• Respond to inquiries from policyholders and agents, providing insurance counseling and making adjustments to policy information
• Generate premium growth through direct marketing and sales leads, while maintaining a profitable book of business

Required qualifications

• Obtain and maintain Resident Producer License and Nonresident Licenses as required
• College degree preferred
• 2+ years of insurance-related experience preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in using desktop tools and automated underwriting systems
• Knowledge of insurance products and customer preferences is a plus
