Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer service, the full-time Resident Property & Casualty Underwriter will manage risk assessment and pricing for lower complexity risks, respond to inquiries from policyholders and agents, and contribute to business growth while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Quote, accept, decline, and modify lower complexity risks in accordance with underwriting guidelines
  • Respond to incoming calls and inquiries from policyholders and agents, providing insurance counseling and making necessary policy adjustments
  • Generate premium growth through direct marketing, upselling, and managing a profitable book of business
Required qualifications
  • Obtain and maintain Resident Property & Casualty Producer license
  • 2+ years of insurance-related experience preferred
  • College degree preferred
  • Proficiency in automated underwriting and desktop tools
  • Experience with insurance-related coursework is a plus
