Residential Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Supervising a team of accounting professionals, the full-time Residential Accounting Manager will manage client relationships, oversee the month-end close process, and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of 2-4 accounting professionals while managing client communications related to financial reporting
• Own the execution of the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance of property financials
• Manage performance of outsourcing partners and resolve property-specific issues, escalating concerns as necessary

Required qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Real Estate accounting and/or Property Management
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience
• Experience with Yardi is highly desired
• Proficiency in cash management, forecasting, and planning
• Demonstrated experience leading a team
