Residential Loan Closer

Job Summary

Managing the final stages of the residential mortgage process, the full-time Residential Loan Closer will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely loan closings while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and finalize Closing Disclosures (CDs) for accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Coordinate with settlement agents and attorneys to validate final closing details and finalize funding figures
• Monitor loan closing schedules and maintain communication to ensure timely closings

Required qualifications

• TRID and Closing Disclosure experience, with knowledge of regulatory requirements
• 2+ years of residential loan closing experience and/or familiarity with Encompass Loan Origination System
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple loans and deadlines
• Above average computer skills, including experience with loan origination systems
• Willingness to work overtime as needed based on business demands
