Residential Real Estate Title Examiner

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Residential Real Estate Title Examiner will analyze and review title searches and reports, ensuring legal accuracy and quality before delivery to clients while also supporting customer service communications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze completed title searches for accuracy and adherence to client-specific SOPs
• Examine legal documentation to determine ownership, encumbrances, and verify legal descriptions of properties
• Synthesize title search information to prepare property reports and title commitments

Required Qualifications:

• 1-4 years of experience as a title abstractor/examiner, including online search experience
• Familiarity with various state guidelines and property tax jurisdictions
• Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word and Excel
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Good judgment regarding access to confidential borrower data
