Resource Mobilization Consultant

Job Summary

To enhance funding strategies for climate solutions, the part-time Resource Mobilization Consultant will develop a comprehensive resource mobilization strategy, build an investment pipeline, and produce high-quality funding proposals while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and operationalize a resource mobilization strategy aligned with key international financial institutions (IFIs) and climate funds
• Build a multi-year investment pipeline and maintain a dashboard tracking funding opportunities and proposal statuses
• Produce funder-ready deliverables, including proposals, concept notes, and pitch decks, while advising on compliance and engagement strategies

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Finance, Economics, International Development, or a related field; MBA preferred
• 10-15 years of experience in resource mobilization and development finance for multilateral programs
• Proven track record of securing funding from major IFIs and climate finance sources
• Experience in proposal development for complex, multi-country programs
• Familiarity with blended finance structures and capacity-building programs in resource mobilization
