Resource Mobilization Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting grants acquisition efforts, the full-time Resource Mobilization Specialist will identify funding opportunities, coordinate proposal processes, and engage with donors while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead proactive scanning of donor platforms to identify and analyze funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities
• Facilitate proposal development by coordinating teams, managing timelines, and ensuring alignment with donor expectations
• Support donor engagement through scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and tracking engagement actions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 5 years of experience in business development, resource mobilization, or proposal development within an international NGO
• Demonstrated experience with proposal development for various donor types, including US government and multilateral donors
• At least 2 years of experience in opportunity sourcing and donor intelligence
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, particularly SharePoint, and experience with CRM systems like Salesforce
