Restitution Specialist

Job Summary

Managing restitution and recovery opportunities remotely, the full-time Restitution Specialist will review claims, communicate with law enforcement and insurance representatives, and negotiate repayment arrangements to secure timely reimbursement for eligible losses.

Key responsibilities:

• Review assigned claims and related documentation to identify potential restitution opportunities
• Initiate and maintain communication with law enforcement and prosecuting agencies regarding restitution matters
• Negotiate repayment arrangements and monitor outstanding restitution accounts for timely resolution

Required qualifications:

• Previous experience in insurance, claims, collections, subrogation, or a related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with claims and case-management systems
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable handling sensitive financial conversations with individuals and organizations
